My Name is Nick Gaudiosi.
When people ask what I do for a living, I tell them I'm in the Insurance industry. They look at me as if to say, ok, that's boring! I don't often explain "WHY" I do what I do, but those who know me best, understand I'm a passionate, people-first leader focused on disrupting my industry without being disrespectful to its rich traditions. My work as a healthcare strategist and insurance executive is mission-driven and inspired by my mother's healthcare journey with Multiple Sclerosis and the many good, bad and ugly experiences along the way.

I help people and businesses reach their full potential by leveraging my experience in business operations, sales, marketing, growth, innovation and M&A. My independence, creativity, and high-energy as a business leader was activated by my experiences as a child and young adult. Since an early age, was a caregiver for my paraplegic mother who suffered from progressive Multiple Sclerosis. This experience made me task-focused with a strong will and determination to overcome adversity and difficult problems. It instilled in me a strong sense of empathy, and self-awareness; traits that I have called upon often throughout life and business. It also gave me unique perspectives on the role that healthcare plays in ones life.

I took these foundational experiences coupled with a strong education and ventured into the financial services, insurance and healthcare industries. The confidence I gained tackling adversity as a youth prepared me for the challenges required to achieve early success as a business leader. I believe my ability to solve problems and assume responsibility contributed to my accomplishments. I see customers and employees through a different lens due to the emotional intelligence I acquired through dealing with disabilities. I strive to provide leadership to the organizations and clients I serve by using my personal and professional experiences to promote awareness, understanding, tolerance and motivation with a broad focus on reaching and exceeding goals.

Most recently I was a senior executive for a $1+ billion insurance and investment holding company with 15,000+ healthcare clients, where I led growth, strategy and marketing activities. I'm a dynamic team-first player motivated by solving problems, creating solutions and producing greater than expected results with a sense of urgency.

I gained extensive operations experience from the time I spent as President and Chief Operations Officer of a Mutual Insurance Company. During this tenure, I had a broad scope of responsibilities from sales, marketing, underwriting management and risk management. I've gained a proficiency and knowledge with mergers and acquisitions having led my previous firms through two successful transactions resulting in accretive value creation for shareholders and the acquiring companies.
